GFHR is built specifically for families—both hosts and guests—who value slow, intentional travel. Our community deeply understands the transformative power of exploring the world together as a family.
Membership is by invitation only to ensure a foundation of trust and keep the community strong, safe, and aligned. Everyone is here because someone they know and trust welcomed them in.
Families are encouraged to price homes to cover their costs rather than make a profit. We’re all here to help one another travel affordably, sustainably, and safely.
Every stay is a minimum of one month, making it easier for host families to manage and giving guest families a true home-away-from-home. No weekly turnovers, just stability and consistency.
Once a booking is approved by both families, pay and get paid however works best—Venmo, Wise, Revolut, or bank transfer. One flat annual fee to join. No transaction fees, no friction.
